Summer... Bring It On!

It may be after Labor Day (the traditional slowdown of our summer season), but with this nice weather we are having (clear, and in the upper 70's  for the next week plus) we are going as strong as ever.  We might be a little "behind the 8 ball" with the blog, but we are baking up a storm!

 Classic Carrot Cake with cream cheese icing

This week we are featuring our Classic Carrot Cake, full of fresh grated carrots, plump raisins and sweet pineapple.  We the top of this little lovely with our own cream cheese icing with just a touch of freshly grated orange zest... WOW, these are great!

Now that it is September, and yes fall is just around the corner, this week we re-introduce two of our favorite fall treats...

Croissants, Plain or Pan au Chocolat


Bayview BBQ Buns (plain or sesame). We will continue to make these every Saturday until the weather turns cool.

Dunkles Roggen Brot (A dark heavy rye bread... this is German loaf that is very very substantial, great sliced really thin and topped with cheese).
